Spring football practice for the 2019 Uvalde Coyotes will begin Monday.
The first practice will start at 5 p.m.
Topping off the spring practice season will be the Uvalde High School spring football game scheduled for May 16 in the Honey Bowl.
Because the Coyotes will participate in spring football this year, they will begin their fall workout one week later than in 2018.
Fall workouts for prospective varsity and junior varsity football players will commence on Aug. 12.
Incoming UHS freshmen and sophomores will begin practice on Aug. 5.
There will be a pre-season meeting on Aug. 1 in the John Harrell Auditorium.
UHS will have only one scrimmage opponent as the Hondo Owls will be in the Honey Bowl to scrimmage the Coyotes on Aug. 22.
