Wiler Rodriguez, 23, of St. Cloud, Minnesota, died Sept. 2, 2019, in Uvalde.
Rodriguez was born April 11, 1996, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, to Laura L. Almanza and Sergio Rodriguez Gonzalez.
He was preceded in death by his mother; two uncles, Ramon Almanza and Jose Angel, all formerly of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico; and aunt Elvia Rodriguez, formerly of Eagle Pass.
He is survived by his father, of New Braunfels; two brothers, Sergio Rodriguez Jr. and Josue Ramon Rodriguez, both of Minnesota; two sisters, Jaqueline Rodriguez of New Braunfels and Arlynn Almanza of Minnesota; aunt, Rosa Almanza of Uvalde; four cousins, Thalia Almanza, Ramon Almanza Jr., Jose Ramon Almanza, and Hector Almanza, all of Uvalde; three nephews, Fransisco Zamudio, Samuel Zamudio, and Rafel Zamudio, all of St. Cloud, Minnesota; niece Laura Zamudio, of Uvalde; and godson, Ramon Almanza III, of St. Cloud, Minnesota.
A visitation was held on Friday from 5-9 p.m. in the Chapel of Serenity at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home in Uvalde, and on Saturday from 5-9 p.m. at Rock Hill Gospel Church in New Braunfels.
Funeral services were conducted in Minnesota.
