Scott M. Clark
Scott M. Clark, 63, of Uvalde died on May 10, 2019, at his residence.
He was born on April 19, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, to Marilyn (Haselswerdt) and Goodwin Clark Jr.
He attended Southern Methodist University where he received his Bachelor of Art degree in finance. He began his career in the reinsurance industry with Guy Carpenter & Company, and later retired from AON Re Inc. where he served as a managing director and executive vice president.
Clark is survived by his wife of 38 years, Derbigny Murrell Clark of Uvalde; son, Goodwin Murrell Clark of Houston; daughter, Laura Derbigny Miller and husband, Kenneth Nolan Miller, of Huntsville, Alabama; two grandchildren, Isabella Derbigny Stephenson and Finn Nolan Miller; his mother; and two brothers, Douglas Goodwin Clark and Brian James Clark, all of Chicago, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his father, formerly of Hinsdale, Illinois.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date at Union Church of Hinsdale, Illinois.
