There will be a different champion of the Uvalde Fourth of July golf tournament crowned tomorrow.
Because of a scheduling conflict, the 2017 winner of the tournament, Mike Hillis of Utopia, was unable to be on hand to defend his title.
The final round of the three-day, match-play golf event will wind up tomorrow morning at Uvalde Memorial Golf Course.
Action will begin at 9 a.m.
Last year, Hillis became the ninth three-time winner in the 70-year history of the event as he bested Del Rioan Guy Goodspeed, five and four, in the championship match.
