Last Friday, Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District honored its seven principals during the pre-game show at the varsity football game versus Kerrville Tivy in honor of National Principal Appreciation Month.

Uvalde High School Principal Elizabeth Sandoval, Morales Junior High Principal Isidro Escamilla, and Flores Elementary Principal Michelle Rodriguez were named coin toss honorees. Rodriguez was not in attendance for the game.

Dalton Early Childhood Center Principal Abraham Contreras, Anthon Elementary Principal Bryan Perez, and Robb Elementary Principal Becky Reinhardt raised the all-in flag moments before the start of the game.

Also honored that night for being a U.S. military veteran was Batesville School Principal Hector Lopez, who served in the U.S. Navy.
