Uvalde High School will host 7-on-7 football Wednesday night.
The competition will be conducted at the Uvalde High School practice complex located just off of N. Camp Street.
Action will beginning at 6 p.m.
Teams participating in the 7-on-7 play will include Uvalde’s Maroon and Uvalde’s White team, along with Carrizo Springs, Crystal City, Eagle Pass Winn, Del Rio Blue and Del Rio White, and La Pryor.
In 7-on-7 action last Wednesday in the Honey Bowl, the Uvalde Maroon team split a pair of games, while the Uvalde White team lost three games.
The Maroons topped Del Rio’s varsity, 41-20, but lost a 42-12 decision to the La Pryor varsity.
Uvalde’s White team lost in action against Del Rio’s junior varsity team, 34-0 and 42-6, and to La Pryor’s varsity, 36-12.
Fall workouts for Uvalde High School varsity and junior varsity players will commence on Aug. 12.
