Robb Elementary hosts robotics expo

With the Robb Elementary’s first robotics expo in the books, organizers are looking ahead to next week when the campus will host robotics teams from campuses across the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District.

In preparation for the Texas Computer Education Association Region 20 tournament scheduled in January of 2019 in San Antonio, the Robb Elementary campus will host a mock TCEA robotics challenge in the school cafeteria from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15.

Teams from Uvalde High School, Morales Junior High, Flores Elementary, and Batesville School are expected to compete.

“We would like to invite everyone in the community to come out and support the robotics teams,” said Guillermo Salazar, robotics instructor at Robb Elementary.
