Long-treasured homes on library’s fundraiser tour

Tickets still available for popular event set Sunday

El Progreso Memorial Library is hosting a home tour Sunday from 3-5:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 each and may be purchased at the library, from the Uvalde Convention and Visitors Bureau or Amy’s Attic. Tickets will not be available at the door. Proceeds from the event will benefit the library.

Four homes will be on the tour: 403 N. Getty St., owned by Caitlin and Matt Visel; 119 W. Mesquite St., owned by Estelle and Tom DuBose; 423 N. Park St., owned by Jill and Chad Foster; and 1205 Magnolia St., owned by Kristin and Kincaid Light. Refreshments will be served and live music will be played at each home. The Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps from Uvalde High School will serve as escorts and hosts.
