Lobos play in Kinchlow Tuesday

Tuesday night in Harvey Kinchlow Gym, the Uvalde Lobos will resume their District 28-5A basketball schedule.

They will host the Medina Valley Lady Panthers.

Varsity action at Uvalde High School will begin at 6:30 p.m., while the two sub-varsity games are set for a 5 p.m. tip-off time.

Last month, the Lobos lost a 75-30 district decision against Medina Valley in district action at Castroville.

Ahead 43-17 at halftime, the Panthers continued their offensive onslaught in the second half as they rolled to a 45-point win.

Michayla Chaffin and Katelyn Burris scored in double figures for MV with 11 points and 10 points.

Alyssa Rodriguez netted 10 points to lead UHS.

Others scoring for Lobos were Jasmine Lewallen with seven points, Shyann Dockal with six points, A’Taisha Carroll with three points, Gisselle Martinez with two points, and Nataly Santos and Aliyah Carrizalez each with one point.
