Lobos complete 2018 volleyball campaign

The Uvalde Lobos completed their 2018 volleyball season on Oct. 19.

They lost a 25-21, 25-11, and 25-22 district volleyball decision against the Southside Lady Cardinals in action played in Uvalde High School’s Harvey Kinchlow Gym.

Individual statistics from the Uvalde-Southside match were not available.

With the loss, Coach Russell McElroy’s Lobos ended their season with a 3-13 District 28-5A record and an overall season record of 9-31.

The Lobos celebrated Dig Pink Night as they held a ceremony to commemorate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

That ceremony preceded the varsity volleyball match between the Lobos and the Southside girls.
