Just who is Earnest?

Mistaken identity takes center stage this week

The Janey Slaughter Briscoe Grand Opera House is presenting “The Importance of Being Earnest,” a classic comedy of love and mistaken identity. Performances are set this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. all three nights.

Tickets, $15 for general admission and $10 for students, may be purchased from the opera house website, at www.uvaldeoperahouse.org/tickets, or from the box office Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets are also available at the door. Doors and the box office open 30 minutes prior to show time.
