Coyotes face Carroll on the road

The Uvalde Coyotes will be on the road for their bi-district baseball playoff series against the Corpus Christi Carroll Tigers.

Tonight, they will begin the best-of-three-games series on the road at Devine, while they will complete the series Saturday afternoon on the road at Corpus Christi.

The starting time for the series opener is scheduled for 7 p.m. today at Devine High School, while game two is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start Saturday at Corpus Christi’s Tuloso-Midway High School.

If needed, game three will begin 30 minutes following the end of game two on Saturday.

Coach Mike Leal’s Tigers, 20-7 for the season, won a best-of-three series in District 30-5A inter-zone action against the Corpus Christi Tuloso-Midway Warriors last weekend.
