Mark Zerr and Webb Berry were first-place winners in the Uvalde Bass Club’s March fishing tournament.
Zerr captured top honors on March 9 with his three fish that totaled 7.41pounds. Among Zerr’s catch was the big bass of the day, a 4.67-pounder.
Berry claimed top honors on March 10 with his three fish that weighed a total of 6.68 pounds.
On March 9, Mark D’Spain took runner-up honors. His three fish weighed a total of 6.48 pounds.
James Best and Matt Meyer placed third and fourth, respectively, with three fish that weighed 6.25 pounds and 5.12 pounds.
Wayne Hale caught only one bass on March 10, but his big bass of the day, a 5.99-pounder, helped him to win second place.
Mark Zerr finished in third place with three fish at a weight of 5.41 pounds, while Gustavo Chavez finished in fourth place with three fish at a total weight of 4.84 pounds.
The next Uvalde Bass Club fishing tournament on the slate is scheduled April 13-14 at Choke Canyon Reservoir.
