The Uvalde youth tennis camp is scheduled for June 6-9 at the Uvalde High School Tennis Center.
This year’s camp is open to area boys and girls, from 4 years old up to incoming UHS ninth-graders.
The camp will run from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on each of the four days.
Included in the camp will be individual instruction on the fundamentals of tennis.
Cost for the camp is $60 per camper.
Only cash or money orders will be accepted. Money orders should be made payable to Uvalde High School.
Girls and boys coming to participate in the camp should wear shorts, T-shirts and court shoes with non-marking soles.
Campers should bring a racket and sunscreen.
Rackets will be available for campers who do not own a tennis racket.
UHS head tennis coach Terri Rambie will serve as the head instructor for the tennis camp.

A second Uvalde youth tennis camp is scheduled for July 10-13.
