Wrestling and tennis are the sports that will be featured for youth camps sponsored by the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District this week.
Monday and Tuesday at Uvalde High School, a youth wrestling camp will be staged. The camp is open to 5-year-olds up to incoming freshmen.
Camp will run daily from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Cost for the camp is $10 per camper.
Uvalde High School head wrestling coach Nicholas Hernandez will be the main camp instructor.
A tennis camp is scheduled for next Monday through Wednesday and on Friday at the Terri Rambie Tennis Complex.
The camp, for boys and girls from ages 4 up to 12, will run from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. daily.
Cost for the camp is $60.

The Uvalde boys’ basketball camp will be held from July 8-11 in Kinchlow Gym.
Daily sessions are scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon.
