UHS closes out pre-district play

Coyotes host Gonzales in football tomorrow

With the start of district competition scheduled to begin two weeks from tomorrow, both the Uvalde Coyotes and the Gonzales Apaches will be looking to close-out their pre-district football slate with a win tomorrow night.

Kick-off time for the 2017 Uvalde High School homecoming football game in the Honey Bowl is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

“It is a big week with homecoming activities and all,” said UHS head football coach R.T. Gonzales.“We want our kids to embrace everything that goes along with homecoming week. But at the same time, we want them to focus on the game because that is our big contribution to the festivities.”
