Road swing continues for Lobos volleyball

The Uvalde Lobos volleyball team will continue their long road trip on Friday when they take on the Pearsall Lady Mavericks at Pearsall.

Varsity action is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., while the junior varsity match and the freshman match both are set to start at 6 p.m.

Coach Russell McElroy’s Lobos, 5-14 for the season, will enter play following road action Friday night against the Carrizo Springs Lady Wildcats.

Last Tuesday, the Lobos lost a road decision to the Del Rio Queens.

The Del Rioans beat the Lobos 24-21 in the first game and went on to sweep the match with wins in games two and three.
