Kayden Carrasco was the seventh runner to finish the varsity girls’ division of the Seguin High School Invitational cross-country meet last Saturday.
Carrasco’s time in the three-mile event was 20 minutes and 52.07 seconds.
Other Uvaldeans vying in the race included: Andrea Perez, 45th place, 22:50.47; Chelsy Moreno, 48th place, 22:53.82; Alex Nolasco, 69th place, 23:43.60; and Brisa Rodriguez, 82nd place, 24:30.57.
The Uvalde High School girls totaled 206 points to finish seventh out of the field of 16 teams entered.
