Lobos resume district hoops slate Tuesday at Castroville

Tomorrow night, the Uvalde Lobos will have the evening off from District 28-5A basketball competition.

Because Uvalde High School competes in a district that includes nine schools, one team will have an open date on each night of district play.

The Lobos will have their open date in the first half of district play tomorrow.

Tuesday at Castoville, the Lobos will resume their district slate when they face the Medina Valley Lady Panthers.

Coach Gisel Mireles’ Lobos will enter that game coming off a 48-29 loss to the Southside Lady Cardinals in their district opener Tuesday night.

Details and individual scoring statistics from that game were not available.
