The Uvalde Coyotes will play the Alamo Heights Mules in a pair of sub-varsity football games scheduled for tonight.
In the Honey Bowl, the Coyotes will play the Mules in a junior varsity contest, while the freshman teams will battle at San Antonio. Both games are set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
Uvalde’s junior varsity, 2-1 for the season, has won two games in a row, including a 28-6 road victory against the San Antonio Memorial Minutemen last Thursday.
Quarterback Jordan Curtis threw the three touchdown passes against Memorial, including a 31-yard pass to Ethan Luna, a 15-yard pass to Tanner Bowman, and a 15-yard pass to Isaac Hernandez.
