Football poster ad sales bring revenue to UHS

Last Monday morning, Uvalde Leader-News advertising director Steve Balke and graphic design specialist Gloria Resma presented Uvalde High School head football coach R.T. Gonzales with a check in the amount of $1,164.75.

The check presentation was made outside the UHS athletic department office. The money raised came through advertisement sales for the 2017 Uvalde Coyotes football poster.

Balke and Resma sold poster ads, Resma designed the poster, while Leader-News photographer Pete Luna took the football photographs used on the poster.

The Coyotes football posters are free to the public and available at the Uvalde Leader-News office, 110 N. East St., located right across from the Uvalde County Courthouse.
