Uvalde’s Honey Bowl will be the site for 7-on-7 football competition and a lineman’s challenge Wednesday night.
Activities will get underway at 6 p.m.
There will be no admission charge for fans who would like to view the 7-on-7 competition.
On hand for the 7-on-7 action will be players representing Hondo, Carrizo Springs, and La Pryor, while Cotulla, La Pryor, and Carrizo Springs will vie in the lineman challenge.
Last Wednesday night, the Uvaldeans recorded three 7-on-7 victories.
They downed Crystal City, Carrizo Springs, and La Pryor.
Players representing Uvalde were to include veterans Marcus De La Cruz, Juan Amaya, Donovan Amaya, Ryan De La Cruz, D’Andre Carroll, Chris Embers, Joseph Ibarra and Raul Flores. Newcomers included Donovan Davila, Tanner Bowman, Christian Rivera and Nick Gonzalez, to name a few.
Prior to that, the Uvalde players posted wins against two Del Rio teams and a team representing Eagle Pass Winn.
