Coyotes play at Boerne tomorrow

Uvaldeans host Hondo Monday

After a few days off following a busy early 15-game schedule, the Uvalde Coyotes will be back in basketball action tomorrow night when they take on the Samuel V. Champion Chargers at Boerne.

Tip-off time for the varsity game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., while the two sub-varsity games will get underway at 5 p.m.

Coach Bill Ramey’s Coyotes, 4-11 for the season, will enter action tomorrow coming off of a 3-2 performance in tournament action at Devine last weekend.

The Coyotes knocked off the Bandera Bulldogs, 57-55, in the tournament consolation championship ball game.

With that win, the Coyotes avenged a 53-39 loss suffered against Bandera in action earlier last week.

Coach Stan Leech’s Chargers, 8-3 for the season, will come into action against the Coyotes tomorrow following a Tuesday night matchup against the San Antonio Cornerstone Warriors at San Antonio.
