Uvalde High School’s sub-varsity football teams will resume their schedule today.
The UHS freshmen will play the Kerrville Tivy Antlers in the Honey Bowl, while the UHS junior varsity team will travel to Kerrville to play the Tivy Antlers in Antler Stadium.
Both games are scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. start.
The Coyotes freshmen, 0-2 in district play and 0-4 for the season, will be trying to bounce back from a 40-0 road loss to the Alamo Heights Mules on Sept. 27.
Offensive standouts for the Coyotes included Nathan Barboza and Dylan Rodriguez, while Taylor Garcia was one of Uvalde’s defensive standouts.
The Coyotes junior varsity team, 2-0 in district and 3-1 for the season, recorded a 2-0 victory over the Alamo Heights Mules in a defensive thriller on Sept. 27 in the Honey Bowl.
