Coyotes and Lobos complete district soccer competition

The Uvalde Coyotes and the Uvalde Lobos will complete their District 29-5A soccer schedule this week.

Tuesday night, the Coyotes will play their final home match of the season as they host the San Antonio McCollum Cowboys, while the Lobos will be on the road for action against the McCollum Cowboys.

Varsity play will begin at 7 p.m., while the junior varsity matches will begin at 5 p.m.

Coach Keith Pendleton Sr.’s Coyotes, 2-6 in district play and 5-14-3 for the season overall, lost a narrow 4-3 decision to McCollum in the first district meet last month at San Antonio.

Keith Pendleton Jr. recorded two Uvalde goals against McCollum, while Marcus Martinez posted one goal.
