Vivian R. Paulson
Vivian Rice Paulson, 103, of Uvalde died on July 17, 2018, at Amistad Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on May 14, 1915, in Hanska, Minnesota, to Minnie (Fredrickson) and Edgar Rice.
The family says she loved to dance, and was a life-long member of American Legion Post 101 in Pharr.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Seitz and husband, Lloyd, of Uvalde; four grandchildren, Jerry Miller, Brian Miller, Marlou Russell, and Charlene Wikstrom; seven great-grandchildren, Samantha Miller, Tamara Delar, Victoria Miller, Anthony Miller, Jesse Siegel, Alexandria Riegle, Katie Russell; three nieces, Janice Berghuis, Jonell Rutten and husband, Richard, and Kay Jensen; and three nephews, Tom Rice and wife, Shirley, Dean Paulson, and Jim Paulson.
Paulson was preceded in death by her husband, Arne Paulson; daughter, Collette Lemley; son, Lee Arne Paulson; and three grandchildren, Tanya Passen, Jack Paulson and Paul Miller.
Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
