Travis H. Scott

Travis Harold Scott, 80, of Uvalde died on June 26, 2017, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Tow Cemetery in Llano County.

He was born on Feb. 24, 1937, in San Angelo to Sara (Kuykendall) and John Harold Scott.

He married Ruby Ann Veltman in 1961, in Brackettville.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, of Uvalde; three sons, Christopher Scott and wife, Rachel, of Santa Rosa, California, John Scott and fiancee’, Kari Wheeler, of Uvalde, and Victor Scott and wife, Melissa, of Cedar Creek; one daughter, Anna Coleman and husband, Clif, of Midland; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Scott of Llano; five brothers, W.A. Scott and wife, Janet, of Payson, Arizona, Tommy Scott and wife, Ann, of League City, Douglas Scott and wife, Melanie, of Granite Shoals, Robert Scott and wife, Sally, of Tucson, Arizona, and Vernon Scott and wife, JoAnn, of Tow; 10 grandchildren, Tiffany Soliz, John Scott, Cole Scott, Macey Scott, Robyn Scott, Chandler Coleman, Colbie Coleman, Rosanna Scott, Paris Schilcher and Bradley Baldwin; and two great-grandchildren, Alanna De Leon and Cassaundra Scott.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation was held on Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Cremation was under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
