Lula I. Williamson
Lula Iris Davis Williamson, 89, died on Dec. 19, 2019, in Kingsville.
A memorial service will be held at Baptist Temple Church on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m.
She was born on June 26, 1930, in Liberal, Kansas, to Hazel (Tomlin) and Robert Jefferson Davis.
She grew up near Pettit in Hockley County.
She married John Allen Williamson at the Baptist Church in Pettit on Jan. 19, 1951. They had five daughters.
She is survived by four daughters, Pat Shepherd and husband, Stewart, Marie Williamson, Sherri McCasland and husband, Shawn, all of Uvalde, and Martha Kennedy and husband, Martin, of Riviera; son-in-law, Richard Ochoa of San Antonio; two sisters, Winnie Stuart and husband, Bill, of Lubbock, and Hazel Wade of Lake Jackson; 12 grandchildren, John Shepherd and wife, LeeAnn, of San Antonio, Rachel Hohman, Joshua Shepherd, Rebecca Mann and husband, Jake, of Uvalde, Rhonda Gallaway of San Antonio, Alan Gallaway and wife, Cami, of Prosper, Ben Gallaway and wife, Christina, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Debbie Oblitas of San Antonio, Chelsea Tidball and husband, Matt, Colby McCasland, and Logan McCasland, all of Uvalde, and Tres Kennedy of Riviera; 18 great-grandchildren and another on the way; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Teresa Williamson Gallaway Ochoa; brother, Don Davis and wife, LaVerne; sister, Jo Anne Vick and husband, JD; and brother-in-law Percy Wade.
