Judy A. Holsey

Judy Ann (Wendling) Holsey, 69, of Sweetwater, formerly of Uvalde, died on April 9, 2019, at her son’s residence in Sweetwater.

She was born on Aug. 28, 1949, to Florence (Mitchell) and Paul Montgomery Wendling, and was raised in Blewett while attending Uvalde schools.

She married Tom Holsey on Jan. 7, 1970, in Sweetwater.

After residing in Uvalde for many years, she moved to Bandera in 2007, and worked as a jailer in Bandera County for many years before retiring.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Kincaid and wife, Michelle, and Paul Kincaid and wife, Jenifer, all of Sweetwater, and Lee Holsey and wife, Shelley, of San Angelo; daughter, Tessa Holsey Stanley of Bandera; brother, Bob Wendling and wife, Cecile, of Austin; family friend, Sterling Brown of Bandera; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Brandi Holsey Bryant; and two great-granddaughters, Brayleigh Kincaid and Jordyn Jones.

Graveside services were held April 12, 2019, in Roscoe Cemetery in Nolan County.
