Geneva J. Robinson
Geneva J. Robinson, 85, of Brackettville died on July 27, 2018, in San Antonio.
She was born on June 10, 1933, in Encinal to Jessie Flo (Tenery) and Bryan Issac DuBose.
The family says she was a loving mother and grandmother, and the best cook ever; she also spent much time assisting others.
Robinson was devoted to her faith, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brackettville. She was a dependable volunteer for many years at the Kinney County Nutrition Center.
Robinson is survived by three sons, David R. Robinson and wife, Debra, of Jacksonville, Florida, Larry Robinson and companion, Holly Benjamin, and Garry Robinson, all of Brackettville; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; brother, Bryan Edward DuBose; sister, Geraldine Jenevieve Homeyer; her husband; Raymond A. Robinson; and son, Dennis James Robinson.
A visitation was held yesterday from 8 a.m to 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Brackettville.
A funeral service followed at 10 a.m., also at at the First Baptist Church in Brackettville. Interment followed at Kinney County Cemetery.
Pallbearers were P.H, Coates IV, Jim Linderman, Joseph Treviño, John Samaniego, Donnie Nance and Sterling Goodloe. Honorary pallbearers were Leland Burgess, Robert Cano, Tim Ward and Cliff Fritter.
