Deborah K. Riley
Deborah Kay (Coleman) Riley, 67, of Leakey died unexpectedly at her home on Oct. 24, 2019.
She was born on Sept. 13, 1952, in Uvalde to Kay Fisher and T.J. Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Terry Coleman.
Riley is survived by one daughter, Reahshell Davis, and husband, Steven, of Leakey; three grandchildren, Heather Wheatley, Haley Wheatley, and Mason Wheatley, all of Leakey; sister, Shelly Coleman Ryan and husband, Jimmy, of Carlsbad, New Mexico; three nephews, Michael Coleman, Wes Ryan and wife, Kasi, and Braden Ryan and wife, Stormi, all of Carlsbad, New Mexico; two great-nieces, Aubrey Coleman and Macy Ryan; and great nephew, Cash Ryan.
According to the family, Riley loved her family and friends fiercely. They described her as a wonderful cook who took great pride in her plants and her home. They said she loved the outdoors and her pets, Bimbo, Shelby and Baby. They will miss her smile, blue eyes, and quick wit. Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a graveside service at the Leakey Floral Cemetery in the spring.
