Angelita H. Buantello

Angelita H. Buantello, 85, of Uvalde died on April 4, 2018, in Uvalde.

A rosary was recited yesterday and will be recited again today at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes- Knowles Mortuary.

A funeral mass will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

She was born on Aug. 2, 1932, in Uvalde to Otilia (Galindo) and Ricardo Hernandez.

Buantello is survived by three sons, Elpidio Buantello Jr. and wife, Janie, of Austin, Albert Buantello and wife, Rosie, of Uvalde and Juan Buantello of Joshua; seven daughters, Teodosa B. Gonzalez and husband, Jose, of Uvalde, Mary B. Padilla and husband, George, of Grand Prairie, Norma Buantello of Joshua, Otilia Enriquez and husband, Ronald, of Burleson, Rosalie McDaniel and husband, Jack, of Pflugerville,  Bertha Sifuentes and husband, Mark, and Angie B. Lugo and husband, Donald, all of Georgetown; two brothers, Savino Hernandez and wife, Susie, of Belton and Jose Hernandez and wife, Dolores, of San Antonio; three sisters, Celia Castillo and husband, Matilde, of Temple, Carmen Maldonado and husband, Gerardo of Belton and Lupe Hernandez and husband, Miguel, of Uvalde; 32 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elpidio F. Buantello Sr.; two brothers, Martin Hernandez and Ernesto Hernandez; sister, Petra Morales; two grandsons, Julian Buantello and Blaine Buantello; great-grandson, Carlos M. Buantello Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Elaine Buantello.

Pallbearers will be Jose J. Gonzalez Jr., Michael Buantello, Eddie B. Garza, Joseph A. Buantello, Joe Bob Crow, Brandon B. Lugo, Mark Anthony Sifuentes, George B. Padilla and Ricardo Buantello.
