No one is prepared when tragedy strikes – certainly not a 26-year-old tourist to Boston hoping to cheer on a friend at a marathon run on April 15, 2013.
Rebekah Gregory, survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing, is set to speak at Uvalde Memorial Hospital’s Women’s Expo, scheduled Tuesday at the Willie De Leon Civic Center from 5-8 p.m.
The event, geared toward women, is free to attend. Men and children are discouraged from attending.
