Esser of Esser and Company Consulting, said the system designed to notify residents and visitors along rivers and streams in Uvalde County of flooding is anticipated for completion within 60 days.

Sensors and monitors will be placed along the Nueces, Sabinal, Frio and Dry Frio rivers.

While most of the flood monitoring equipment sites will be located in Uvalde County, a few of the sensors will be in Real County and Bandera County.
