Capital murder suspect Sabrina Vielma, 34, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for tampering with evidence and hindering the apprehension of a known felon.

Vielma is accused of removing shells from the weapon her boyfriend, 33-year-old Gerardo “Dreamer” Covarrubias Gonzales, allegedly used to rob a Smoking Hills Tobacco Inc. clerk at gunpoint last month. Vielma told authorities Gonzales robbed the smoke shop to assist her with payments for her pre-trial release program.

Brando Miguel-Santa-Maria Briseño was also allegedly involved in the robbery.

Vielma, who was indictment for the 2011 murder of her 4-year-old son Davaughn Rodriguez, has remained free after posting a $400,000 bond in 2013. However, her freedom came with conditions. One stipulation was that she make no offense against the law of the state of Texas, federal government, or any municipality.

On Nov. 6, 2016, Vielma was arrested by the Uvalde Police Department for driving with an expired driver’s license.

A warrant was issued for her arrest and she was picked up that night. To be released from jail, Vielma had to pay $50,000 surety bond and was required to wear a GPS ankle monitor.
