Will Pollock, senior student at Utopia High School, just returned from the National High School Finals Rodeo held in Gillette, Wyoming, with prizes in tow. Pollock placed third in the first round of the saddle bronc riding with a score of 76, winning a beautiful buckle and a framed plaque.

He was bucked off in the second round, but his previous score was enough to qualify him for the final round during the last performance of the week-long rodeo. Pollock held his own among the top young saddle bronc riders in the nation, splitting second place with a score of 79.

Among his prizes was a beautiful sculpture of a saddle bronc rider.

At 17 years of age, Pollock is already a recognizable name in the sport of rodeo and making his Utopia fans and his parents Tori and Johnny Pollock proud.
