UCISD meets TEA standards across the board

Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District met standard in the 2017 Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating System. The rating is the highest attainable and is based on four indices, including student achievement, student progress, closing of performance gaps and post-secondary readiness.

Possible ratings include met standard, improvement required, not rated or met alternative standard.

To measure and compare student achievement, TEA utilizes STAAR test scores. This is a method to fairly evaluate how all students are doing on the same test in all parts of the state.
