UCAD eyes budget increase

If approved, Uvalde County Appraisal District will spend $11,651 more on staff salaries for the coming fiscal year than last year, according to the proposed budget for 2019. An additional $13,306 would be spent on staff education, to include travel accommodations to and from out-of-town seminars.

The district’s increase in expenditures represents a  5.36-percent uptick from 2018 – from $1.11 million in 2018 to $1.17 million in 2019.

In total, the district plans to spend $59,757 more in 2019 than in 2018. District revenues are also expected to increase by that much.
