Stolen dog returned to Uvalde owner

When American Bully dog siblings Molly and Gemma were taken from their Gonzales Street residence on Aug. 3, 2016, owner Marco Chavez thought he would never see them again. But last week, he was reunited with Molly.

Last week, Uvalde Police Department Cpl. Greg Villa received a tip from the Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office regarding the dogs’ whereabouts. According to UPD, Gemma was sold to a Fort Worth resident while Molly was sold to a San Antonio resident.

According to police, Molly’s new owner was sentenced to jail and she was returned to her seller, who resides in Uvalde.
