City/county maps set for 2020 printing

The Uvalde Convention and Visitors Bureau has partnered with the Uvalde Leader-News to produce a new map for the city of Uvalde, Uvalde County and the Texas Hill Country River Region to be distributed at the beginning of next year.

The full-color maps will feature a detailed guide to the city with numbered landmarks and a street index. The county map shows numbered roads and rivers. The Frio Canyon map denotes roads and Frio River crossings, along with featured businesses stretching from Leakey to Reagan Wells. It also includes portions of the Nueces River.

The map is made possible through the support of businesses whose advertisements surround the various maps.

Uvalde Leader-News graphic designer/sales representative Gloria Resma will begin contacting advertisers this week to participate in the map project.

The CVB will distribute the maps next January to advertisers and others wishing to provide the new product to residents and visitors.
