A behavioral health symposium hosted by Uvalde Memorial Hospital’s Crossroads program is planned Friday, May 3, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Wille De Leon Civic Center.
According to UMH, the symposium will focus on providing professionals in a variety of fields associated with mental health in any capacity with knowledge and tools to continue to improve their skills.
The target audience includes healthcare professionals, law enforcement, counselors, educators, first responders and family members or friends of individuals who are affected by mental health.
The event is open to the public. Cost to register is $50. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Register and pay online by May 2 at www.umhtx.org/events/BHS.
