Home sales in Uvalde County are on the rise, according to data released by the Texas A&M Real Estate Center.
There were 162 closed sales in 2019, up 3.2 percent from 2018. The new data also indicates that homes sales in Uvalde County have increased annually since 2015.
With these upward trends, the hope is that home sales will continue to rise in 2020, said local Uvalde Board of Realtor member Kay Jungerman.
Homeowners saw a slight decline in the median sales price, which settled at $162,500 in 2019, down 1.5 percent from 2018.
It also took longer to sell a house in 2019.
