Set to adorn the pews of First United Methodist Church on Oct. 4-5, the Sanctuary Quilts exhibit will feature a display of vibrant colors, intricate patterns and mesmerizing craftsmanship.
“This exhibit will truly be a feast for the eyes,” said Kay Brieden, coordinator for the event.
The display is a compilation of new and vintage quilts, some contemporary while others pre-date the 1908 sanctuary.
“There will be all sizes and patterns of quilts, hand-pieced and quilted as well as machine-pieced and quilted,” said Brieden.
