Winners of Green Thumb Garden Club’s yard of the month honors for November include First Baptist Church of Uvalde and the home of Casy and Ryan Sanford.
The church, located at 220 N. High St., features planters and a grand flower bed, all filled with colorful periwinkle, pyracantha, azaleas and shrimp plants.
Sago Palms and numerous oak trees grace the grounds around the church, welcoming members and visitors alike.
The spacious, immaculately groomed yard of Casy and Ryan Sanford, 70 Private Road 4330 off Pearsall Road, features special lighting that illuminates the palm trees lining the driveway.
