Bookmarks galore on display at library

Avid readers have a love for the written word in common, but how they individually mark their last-read page is a topic that can divide even the most easygoing among them. It’s clear where longtime El Progreso Memorial Library staff member Leti Ruiz falls on the bookmark-or-dogeared-page debate with this month’s library display.

Library director Mendell Morgan reports the January display, named “I’m Here to Save Your Page,” is made up of a delightful and expansive array of colorful bookmarks Ruiz has collected over the years.
